The DrMeds Standard

Listed is a bar.
Approved is a verdict.

Most stores sell whatever sells. DrMeds is run by the people who make, distribute and dispense medicine for a living — so everything on this shelf answers to one doctor's bar, and a few products answer to a much harder one.

Listed on DrMeds

Listed on DrMeds

The entry bar. A product is Listed only if it is genuine, honestly labelled, sensibly formulated, and something we would dispense in our own clinic. Passing the bar is necessary — it is not praise.

  • ✓ Genuine, sealed, in-date stock
  • ✓ Label claims match the formulation
  • ✓ Doses at levels that can plausibly work
  • ✓ We would hand it across our own counter
DrMeds Approved

DrMeds Approved

The scarce seal. At most one product per category — our best-in-class pick, chosen on formulation, doses and evidence, with the reasoning published as a written verdict. Our own labels compete for it like everything else; where they win, the verdict says why.

  • ✓ One pick per category — scarcity is the point
  • ✓ A written verdict, at doctor grade, published on the page
  • ✓ Re-examined when the category changes
  • ✓ Lost if a better formulation appears — including against our own labels
The seal stays rare by rule. A shelf where everything is "approved" approves nothing.
Who is behind the bar

A doctor's shelf, not a marketplace

DrMeds operates as a division of Aston Sequoia — a licensed pharmaceutical company — within a group that spans manufacturing (Aston Sequoia), distribution (Medicello) and clinical practice (AHC OPD). The person setting this bar prescribes, dispenses and manufactures medicine. That is the qualification behind every verdict.
